Hi,
I installed Joomla 1.7 from scratch on a new created webspace.
After this I installed only the booklibrary component (com_booklibrary_1.6_Basic_2_1_2011_08_12.zip).
Next I added a BookLibrary entry to the main menu.

Now when I go to this new entry on the webpage I can see the various categories (Development, Joomla, MYSQL, PHP, Favorites, Other). When I click on one of these categories I see a list with, Cover, Title, Authors, Rating, Hits and Status.
But every row shows only a small image with the text "no cover" inside!
When I click on any row, I see the book detail information and the correct cover.
This also happen, when I add new books to the demo data.
Except when I add a book without fetching data from Amazon. In this case, i see a picture with the text "no image available" in the list and detail view (which is correct).

What can I do, to make the correct covers visible in the list view?

I not know what and why for you not work. For me all work good.

But try download last BookLibrary version and update on yours site below file:
{yours host}/components/com_booklibrary/booklibrary.html.php

It must be an issue with the the Booklibrary component for Joomla 1.6/1.7

Now I installed Joomla 1.5 and the latest Booklibrary component (com_booklibrary_BASIC_2_0_2011_05_10.zip) and everything works fine.

On the same webspace with Joomla 1.7 and the latest Booklibrary component (com_booklibrary_1.6_Basic_2_1_2011_08_12.zip) it does not work. All settings (php, apache and so an) are identical of course, because it is the same webspace.

I send you my admin user details through the contact form, because this "cover issue" is essential for me before I can buy your component.

I did self update for that file and for me all work good.

Hi, sorry about that. The last time I visit your website I have not seen the update and I thought I have already the latest version.
I downloaded com_booklibrary_1.6_Basic_2_1_2011_09_05.zip and replaced the file and now it works.
