02. Configure MediaLibrary 1.5.x Shop Settings Frontend

   In this article we will look at the various configuration options for MediaLibrary 1.5.x Shop Settings Frontend.


Settings frontend.


Go to the [Components] - [MediaLibrary] - [Setting Frontend] page.

You can reach this page either through the top menu or through the horizontal menu bar.

Set the options as you want them. The options are fairly self-explanatory. But if you need more information, you can hover with your mouse over the [i] at each option and it will show the tooltip for each option with a short explanation.

 


  • Default order type

Select Title order type. This is ordering for "All Categories" front-end menu item. It will be set by default in front-end for all items types.

  • Music order type

Select music order type. This is ordering for "All Music" front-end menu item . It`ll be set by default in frontend for music items.

  • Book order type

Select Book order type. This is ordering for "All Books" front-end menu item .It will be set by default in frontend for Books items.

  • Video order type

Select videos order type. This is ordering for "All Videos" front-end menu item. It will be set by default in frontend for video items.

  • Games order type

Select games order type. This is ordering for "All Games" front-end menu item. It will be set by default in front-end for game items


  • Send Review notification

Whether or not to send review notifications, and by which user groups.

  • Send Suggestion notifications

Whether or not to send suggestions notifications and by which user groups.

  • Send Lend Request notifications

Whether or not to send Lend Request notifications, and by which user groups.


  • Show reviews

Whether or not to show the user submitted reviews in the frontend.

  • Allow reviews

Set the user rights level which is allowed to submit Media reviews from the frontend. If set to Registered Users, no CAPTCHA will be displayed. If set to Guest Users, CAPTCHA will need to be filled in when submitting to avoid spam entries. If you only use MediaLibrary in a controlled LAN environment, you can of course allow everyone to enter Media reviews.

You can select multiple user groups for rights settings by using CTRL +

  • Show [ Add Media ] button:

Whether or not to show the user submitted new media in the frontend.

  • Allow [ Add Media ] button

Set the user rights level which is allowed to submit New Media from the frontend. All media submitted from users appears in MediaLibrary as unpublish, so admin will must check all data from users and after that do it publish.

You can select multiple user groups for rights settings by using CTRL + click



  • Show lend status

Whether or not to show the lend status of a media in the frontend Media details page.

  • Allow lend request

Set the user rights level allowed to enter lend requests for media.

You can select multiple user groups for rights settings by using CTRL + click


  • Show button [Suggest Media]

Whether or not to show the [Suggest Media] button, and for which user

groups.

You can select multiple user groups for rights settings by using CTRL + click


  • Show [Price]

Whether or not to show the Media Price, and for which Media categories.

You can select multiple user groups for rights settings by using CTRL +

click


  • Show button [Buy Now]

Whether or not to show the [Buy Now] button to Amazon, and for which Media Categories.

You can select multiple Media categories by using CTRL + click


  • Show button [Buy Now VM]

Whether or not to show the [Buy Now VM] button to Virtuemart component local installed on yours site, and for which Media Categories.

You can select multiple Media categories by using CTRL + click


  • Show eMedia download link

Whether or not to show eMedia in the frontend, and for which user groups.

You can select multiple user groups for rights settings by using CTRL + click


  • Show eMedia download license

Whether or not to display a license accept/refuse before allowing eMedia download in the frontend, and with which text for the license.


  • Media cover size

Set the image size for the media covers.


  • Page items

How many media to show per 1 page in a category.


  • Custom Category images

Whether or not to have custom category images which show in the categories list in the frontend.

If set to NO, all media categories will have the standard folder icon in the list.

If set to YES, each media category will have its own icon in the category list

(image is set in each category).


  • Show Subcategory

Whether or not to also show the media subcategories in the main category list in the frontend.
